I think where a lot of people get tripped up in reaching their goals is that they aren’t focusing on the day-to-day activities that will get them there. They just stare longingly at the goal, saying, “I really want that.” If goals are put in their proper perspective (to provide direction, not be all-encompassing) and the bulk of the effort is put into the process of getting there, I think goals become more attainable.
