Thursday’s Review
In my review today I will be taking a peek at an comprehensive website belonging to a company that is known globally for the level of help it provides executive level professionals, recruiters and talent-seeking employers. I am talking about ExecuNet, a leader in career and business networking since 1988. This site is member driven but offers a great deal of career industry information for anyone who stops in for a visit.
I was fortunate enough to view an interview with Dave Opton, CEO and founder of ExecuNet conducted by Bill Vick the creator of EmploymentDigest (which I’ll be reviewing in the coming weeks) where Mr. Opton provided just a hint of the advantages of being a member at ExecuNet. Whether an executive level candidate or an employer looking for top talent, ExecuNet can help you achieve your goals. Most members according to Mr. Opton, are Director level or higher with salaries exceeding $200,000. Members become part of a c-level community and can interact with each other as well as executive recruiters to assist in their job search.
As a brief overview, executive job seekers are provided with numerous assistance services including confidential expertise in resume development, interviewing, compensation, networking and career advancement. Employers are offered equally effective assistance in job description development, posting, searching resumes and generating referrals.
The site offers many “members only” benefits including webinars and availability to the latest industry information. ExecuNet offers a bi-weekly newsletter as well as an annual Executive Job Market Intelligent Report to the public. The 17th annual edition of the report was just released last week and discusses hiring trends, latest facts and figures on salaries, demand from emerging industries, and more. You can get a copy of the report at their website.
Executives and those looking to hire executive should consider joining ExecuNet with memberships ranging from $30-40 monthly depending on the length of the package, it is well worth the value gained form the extensive network and vital information available. With many more services to be discovered at ExecuNet make sure to check out the site for yourself today.
