Monday’s PMA

Yesterday was Mother’s day and I am so thankful to have had the weekend with my kids, family and mom. I had a family breakfast made by my husband and kids and even received a few gifts that were sweet and thoughtful. Later I spent some time with my own mom and brought her a gift as well. Nothing huge, just a reminder that I love her and a thank you for still being my mom when I need her to be.

But what kept going through my mind yesterday, was how blessed I am with to have healthy kids and a wonderful family surrounding me. The world wants you to fall prey to all the negatives it has to offer, and it is easy to do by listening to the news and media – but don’t let it. Keep moving forward and searching and seeking the positive, good, fun, and the blessed things that are also here, but sometimes hidden from us. When you adjust your thoughts, focus on the positive  and have a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) you become positive and your self-confidence, outlook, and effect you have on others is magnified.

The same is true when you develop a resume, If you have a specific focus and intent for the resume and make sure every word and sentence in the resume revolves around that one focus, the resume will stand out because it showcases everything that is wanted for that one particular job. It doesn’t have other information that is distracting and irrelevant to the goal of the resume.

Focusing your resume and job search on specific targets and keeping yourself positive and forward thinking, will ensure both you and your resume will get noticed quickly.
